Right away we are confronted with the poor ducklings, well actually they are ducks, waiting to be prepared. The heads are still on the bodies. This is necessary (necessary?!) because a pump is used to inflate the duck so that the skin comes loose from the rest of the body. Hopefully after having lived a long and happy life...
Al snel zijn daar de arme eendjes, zeg maar eenden, wachtend om bereid te worden. De hoofden zitten er nog aan. Dit is nodig (nodig?!) om met een pomp de eend op te blazen zodat het vel los komt van de rest van het lijf. Een en ander hopelijk wel na een gelukkig leven...
