To be quite honest, it's a bit of a disappointment; the embroidery here is much less refined, the shoes less elegant, those in the tourist shops in any case. But one tiny store is the exception. The walls are lined with silk and the shoes are displayed like small works of art. Beautifully dressed salesladies provide the finishing touch.

Eerlijk gezegd valt het nogal tegen, het borduursel is hier veel grover, en de schoenen lomper, in ieder geval in de toeristenshopjes. Maar één shopje springt er uit. De wanden zijn bekleed met zijde en de schoentjes zijn uitgestald als kleine kunstwerkjes. Prachtig aangeklede verkoopsters maken het af.
